My daughter Csenge's birth in 100 pictures - part 7
(the first moments of life)Meanwhile, our friend, the babysitter and the doula arrived - they missed the action by about 5 minutes! It was fine with us, since we didn't want to get crowded at the birth anyway. After a while, we began to think about getting me out of the pool to deliver the placenta. Zoltan and the midwife lifted me out onto the bed. All the energy I had during active birth had drained out of me, I felt totally limp and lazy! I only wanted to hold my baby and relax.
I wish it could be like this forever: one hand held by Daddy, the other by Mommy...
We lower her back into the water...
...and she relaxes again.
Ok, now it's better!
I don't want to get out! Who wants to birth placentas when it's so nice to hold a five minutes old baby!
Oh, no, no, no. You can't mean it. How should I go around with my eyes open when there's SOOO much light?!
United efforts are taken to lift me out of the pool. My strength is completely drained.
Happy landing, little one!
Let's hug close so she's nice warm
Isn't she just beautiful?Webhost: Andrea Noll
