My daughter Csenge's birth in 100 pictures - part 7
(the first moments of life)

Meanwhile, our friend, the babysitter and the doula arrived - they missed the action by about 5 minutes! It was fine with us, since we didn't want to get crowded at the birth anyway. After a while, we began to think about getting me out of the pool to deliver the placenta. Zoltan and the midwife lifted me out onto the bed. All the energy I had during active birth had drained out of me, I felt totally limp and lazy! I only wanted to hold my baby and relax.

We lower her back into the water...

I don't want to get out! Who wants to birth placentas when it's so nice to hold a five minutes old baby!

Oh, no, no, no. You can't mean it. How should I go around with my eyes open when there's SOOO much light?!

United efforts are taken to lift me out of the pool. My strength is completely drained.
